You must be wondering, why would a guy, who mostly listens to metal and heavy metal music, be interested in violins?

I myself i have no answer to this, since i was a child i was obsessed about violins, the sound of the violin just makes me high, it almost hypnotizes me. When i hear the sound of a violin, i can almost feel its music through my blood. Violin is simply magical for me.

With a violin, i feel like a snake being charmed.

Enfin bref, all that said, i unfortunately don’t own a violin (my mom promised me one, and i am still waiting… since 10 years). I thought that with time this obsession will go away, but it just became more and more obsessive…

Bits of violin music which i have liked are:

1. The piece with violin in the bollywood movie soldier (yup, i rarely watch bollywood movies, but i just couldn’t resist that piece of violin played in that movie).
2. Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, 3 (by Carrie Rehkopf (she’s great))

All this to say, I looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove violin, and i wish to learn how to play violin, I shall put in a lot of time to learn it, ohhh god, i am just getting crazy here listening to this youtube video:

Issue: Mentality of people + something called society==deteriorating world

Hello people, whether you are reading this or not, i don’t care, coz i know you’ll get pissed off reading this,

After learning that we are supposed to write something on our environment today, i thought i ought to write this,

do you sincerely believe that this cancer called pollution which is spreading over everywhere will ever be defeated?

With piece of shits like you, yes you, the one who drops garbage around everywhere, the type of when you eat something,

you just dump the plastic container down right where you are eating, damned, don’t ever dare commenting saying that you don’t do such things, coz i remember faces, i remember actions also, I study people who do this as, i take note everyday. When i shall become god, you shall pay for having destroyed this nice beautiful place called earth, I wanna smell clean air and look at beautiful natural things. I don’t wanna smell your car’s damned exhaust, nor do i wanna smell you burning garbage in your backyard.

Do you believe it is beautiful/sexy/manly/magnificient/cool to just drop your piece of whatever after you just used your whichever?? Naa, it is just painfully disgusting, if you go to the university of Mauritius and you throw your garbage everywhere under the excuse that there’s not enough bins, then you must be fucking blind or retard, coz there’s bins everywhere, the average distance you need to walk to the next bin is around 10 metres to get a dust bin, so it is really a damned lame excuse to say there’s no bin!

Well listen to this dude, I don’t know whether you are king or not, but the thing is that, society is man made, hence I own this earth as much as you do, and no parcel of land is yours exactly, as there is no exact place marked for anybody when someone is born, only society (something invented by human beings who don’t even know what it is good for themselves) gave you that right, and well, in reality, earth is for everybody, and even for shitting in a corner of this earth, you need to get the votes of all the people of earth, this is the law of nature, only if ever man, animal and plants approve your acts, then shall you shit on the earth, else, YOU DON’T HAVE ANY RIGHT TO DO SO.

You must be wondering why am I not talking about big stuffs about doing this or that for the major world environment progress, damned, I don’t even see the purpose of typing about the environment, because, I am not among those who will talk and don’t do anything, I respect my environment everyday, I dumb my garbage in a bin somewhere, I use less polluting stuff, am not saying i am perfect, when i am drunk or in a bad mood, I may drop one stuffs of 2 around, but generally, I do my duty as a citizen of earth.

only 3 big things:

• We say CFCs and carbon emissions are bad, why the heck are we using it? Manufacturers will produce em as long as there’s a market, so beat your neighbour if he does this, make him beat his neighbour if his’ does that. But well, no one would do that, society prevents you from doing it? pffft
• We have somewhat efficient hygrogen systems, solar systems, why don’t we make huge hydrogen power plants using the sun to produce hydrogen from sea water and power up our cars from hydrogen? Money? naa, that’s not the problem, on large scale it would be cost effective, its petrol industries which is slowing down the process, come on cut the crap, they just say they are for clean energy just to show up a good face, fuck em.
• Concrete buildings everywhere are eyesore, why the fuck don’t we build natural like building (i’ve seen such architecture, so you don’t have any excuse), integrate architecture with the flora, that would be nice, but ohhh well… due to society, you wish to keep the latest trend, YOU ARE RULED BY SOCIETY. you suck!

Okay, i have a lot more to say, but i wish to remain non rude and well, i need to keep some more for next year, do these 3 things first, then shall you know more.

A clean environment starts from you, in your thoughts, and in your action, writing about it, talking about it and blogging about it is just part of the solution, move your ass and start to DO CONCRETE thing, if everyone do his part of duty, the world will be a much better place.

Hello again guys, since i was bored i decided to write something which seems to bother me, every now and then, when you visit people’s profiles or websites(or blog) over the internet, can can note those fancy danasoft logo, here’s a pic:

Anywayz, while visiting a blog I used to visit today, i got curious and wanted to know more about the information being kept, I inspected the element a bit, to find out a bit more, when you visit a page that has that sig, when your browser sends a request for that resource, i.e this image, on the danasoft server, the header information you send is recorded with your ip, and on the fly that image is created with your data (htaccess forwards you to the resource).

Now, you do realize that while you may think its just a lil image that only you and no other one can see, this processing was done at danasoft, and danasoft IS KEEPING THOSE DETAILS.

You browser information, Operating system, Ip address, Website you visited etc… so.. you may be saying

“but my ip address will change, so they won’t know who i am just based on an ip”

but wait a minute smartass :p, that’s not all to it :p your information is kept in cookies, so they’ll be able to identify you and know what which time you were what ip =p

For those who registered there, know thatyour email address is also harvested =p

So you may be asking, why the heck are they storing those information?

We shouldn’t forget that we are living in the age of information, information is valuable… :p very valuable, knowing what websites you visit, the technologies you use etc.., a profile of you can be easily made, this information will be ‘normally’ used as statistics, and probably they won’t say who’s info it is, they just use that statistical information for their own marketing purposes (to know where to shift).

But, wait a minute, if you read their privacy agreements, you will see,” Danasoft.com may disclose personal information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it or to protect the rights or property of Danasoft.com”

So what does this means? Simply means that this information can be used against you, okay you may think you are clean and you don’t indulge in bad things, but don’t forget, this is the age of information, your information even if you are a clean person, can be constructed to make a profile of you which isn’t clean.

Not to mention that, your security will be in the hands of danasoft.com, why do i say so? “A system is as secure as its weakest point”, and “Too much information is a security risk”, merged together :p in normal words it means, if someone manage to get into danasoft.com’s server and get access to their logs, your system is no longer secure, as with all those informations, you are just a sitting duck, its enough for any person with some little amount of brain to understand how your system looks like, and once this is knows :p b dimoune la facile rod point d’accés dans to system.

What to do against?

Enable your firewall to block danasoft. Now if you don’t like a firewall, you may use a remote browser or an anonymous browser (though its not that good of a solution). it started on 20/08/07

Needed something to listen to music, so I decided to buy something to listen to music, googled a bit about the price at froogle of an ipod nano, found it to be around $114, (lil did i know that even on the the net those fake stuffs were being sold), so i just went to RoseHill to get myself one, which I saw around Rs.3500, I asked my friends to come with me… since as a shopper, am not really good, usually, i go in, pay and take it without checking and arguing. Anywayz, went in a store called Crystal fluid located in the Ground floor No.28 in the Royal Complex Commercial Centre, RoseHill Tel. 2940959.

So there were ipods look alike in the window which did seemt like neat copies, and tagged at Rs.3500 for 2 GigaBytes ‘ipod nanos’. So I went, paid and took one, asked the guy to test it, there was some problem in charging, but i supposed since the stuff wasn’t charged previously that its normal that it is taking its time, so finally, he gave me the earphone to hear some a music, he quickly took it out and packed everything in a nice really look alike Ipod nano’s box, (evenwritten made in california etc..). Prend recu etc.. I went home happilly.

It was only in the bus that i decided to read the manual, when i saw that shit, i said what the fuck, it was gibberish, example of a phrase in it (all phrases seems to make no sense), e.g “Support most 99 statures catalogues in one class are of music document and the recording document broadcast” or “The customer grows to press PLAY key, the system shut down.”

I got pissed off, I decided to return that shit then ext day, i went there, the woman talked like a bitch and said that “b non,ou ti bizin guetE avant ou prend, mo pa pou kapav retourne sa pou ou moi”, after insisting, she said “b vini dimain 3hr”, I wasn’t free the next day, didn’t go, I checked the stuff at home, found that this shit had tried to launch a virus on my system, virus which later i found out that it was “jeefo-a”. (lol poor virus, it chose the wrong computer to infect). Anywayz, I decided to not care about returning it, as am not free at the time that bitch told me to come on those days, so i tried to copy music on it to listen…

hehe, bad surprise, actually, that stuff wasn’t 2GB, (linn mal soizir dimoune pou couyonE), there was a software layer that was in the firmware itself that was making it spoof extra space when space didn’t even exist, I later found out (googling etc..), that I could find out the real disk size, found it to be 700MB, the system was great to fool ppl, when let’s say you can copy only 5 songs, you tried to copy 10 songs, you will have 10 files, but 5 of em are pointing to already existing nodes of previous existing songs, or the old ones points to the new file nodes, which means, 2 songs can become actually the same thing… but usually this resulted in “format error” when trying to play with that. Definitely I no more wanted it, i wanted to return it back, but before i wanted to hear the quality of the sound, quality was BAD, CRAP CRAP CRAP. Anywayz, pas zis sa, the battery lasted only 5 minutes, so i placed it to charge, 1hr, 3 hrs, 6hrs of charging, meme couyonad, lerr mo met santE zuE, it usually only lasted for 5 mins and then say battery empty, and shuts down.

Donc sa lundi la, mo all magasin ar bann camarad mo dir boug la kavE sa, bein apparement, sogarson ki proprio magasin la, donc, li dir nou vini lendemain.

Unfortunately, the next day, my friends wanted to go home early (damned why did they do that!), anywayz, i went there alone, I explained the guy my problem, li coummence donne moi 1 lecture saying sa “get sa garson, mo gagne droit vann sa bann Ipod la, la loi donn moi raison, boukou magasin vann sa, moi si mo gagne droit, personn pa pou kapav fer moi narien” (hmm I had to resist a lot not to punch him and eat his brains, but i calmed myself down).

Anywayz, boug la continiE allE meme, mo dir li “bon assE ar tou sa, ou pou retourne moi 1 lot, ou bien ou pou retourn moi mo kass ou bien ki ou pou fer??”

Not only did i get treated as a liar, but also, done openly like that, I hate ppl lying like that,
this gets me pissed off, now i wanted to deface that bitch right there, ohhh the feeling was rising, i wanted to do it, I would have felt soo good doing it, i wanted to rip open the owners mouth, put the damned Ipod in his mouth and force him to eat it, i wanted to rip all his teeth out, this feeling was rising, i knew i had to get the heck out of there before I’ll actually do it, that feeling was increasing minute by minute, I didn’t wanna take law in my hands, I quickly told the man,

Indeed, this won’t end here, my level of craziness has raised, even if i will have to spend more than that, I will make sure this guy suffer, I don’t like to be treated as a liar, when i haven’t lied…

So i called up adarsh, he came some minutes after, went to the police station, the policeman was nice, but unfortunately, he said, we will have to contact “L’acim” , linn donne nou numero la, et monn sonnE, lacim pas ti fini closed at this time i guess, so i went home, revenge in head.

Called L’acim today, they told me i need to come there personally, they said Bell village, but where, I don’t know…

Keep posted… and well.. if there are buyers who don’t know how to shop, plz don’t shop, ask someone who can shop to do it for you… bein hoping that they do come along to buy it!

Well, while selecting electives to do this year, my first choice was network design and services (which no CSE students got, thanks to uom’s ease of changing laws and breaking contracts whenever it wants), and my second choice was Concurrency and parallelism.

Since I didn’t get network design and services as elective, i got my third choice of elective, i.e Computer Vision, well I actually put that as third choice coz i had no idea what it is about. My fourth choice was VR (i placed it fourth coz am scared how bad my artistic skill is, plus i heard it was damned tough :p).

Anywayz, after i got computer vision, a lot of friends told me this module sux. I’ve just finished the lab today, ahhh, actually, am happy i got to do computer vision, It was fun, and well, its about image processing. Today we work on a simple program to load a picture in an array and to negate it, am already feeling too excited to add a few thing in that program. I followed the code for some instant, and immediately found the logic behind almost all of it, actually, after that class i realize that i can use that knowledge to find “hopefully” read what an image has (since we can put it in an array, i suppose I can try to, let’s say, collect the highest gray level of an image, then group and and then see if i can convert it to text or something like that, hopefully i can write something to defeat basic image captcha .. e.g for rapidshare, ohh well, its just an interesting usage i think i could get out of that.

Anywayz, news of the rest of the day:

1. I was  am sick today, feeling feverish.

2. Missed cin a lot, (i thought she was at home, lol, but she was in univ itself, but its only at the end of the day that i got to knowthat.).

3. For the first time i didn’t get the sensation that my brain is being sucked out in the mcid lab (epileptically i mean), its because I brought my mp4 and was listening to music while working, ahh its great not to hear the buzzz of those computers there, it tires my head) (if only the lab attendant could lower down that temperature of the air con).

4. Another nice thing today (cindy: pas lire sa), well, me, aza and kevin had nothing to do in the morning at univ, so we were sitting watching around, well, we were amazed to see the amount of girls who have dressed up sooo sexily on that campus (kevin ti fini vinn presk fou, li ti p rod all koz ar tou tifi li trouve hot). Anywayz, we are still in winter, and the first years have been dressing up sooo hotly, summer seems promising :p. (probably we’ll have to tie kevin with a rope round his neck in summer, he can really go crazy around girls, lmao!)

5. I am tired, but Cindy was even more tired, she looked really really tired today. Though lately she’s been looking tired quite often, i hope she manages to get some rest… ahh univ is tiring.

2moro i need to do an MRI, ahh i’ll miss probably 1 hour of lecture, I hope i get to catch up.

I feel like watching bleach right now, but unfortunately, csyke penkor donn mwa li! ahh sa piti la tro busy sa, i wonder how he’ll manage after he gets married and with some kids around, he’ll probably go bald.

So, what is epilepsy? read here (opens in new window).

What is a seizure? seizure happens when a brief, strong surge of electrical activity affects part or all of the brain. (a consequence of being epileptic )

What to do if you see someone who got a seizure?

1. Keep calm, once someone got a seziure, no one can stop that, let the seizure continue, do not try to revive the person (e.g slapping him). [prevent the person from getting hurt]
2. Do Not shout or panic, Even though i am mostly unconscious when undergoing a seizure, I still make nightmares seeing people looking panicked and shouting “selven selven”. (ohh well, I am groggy when this happens, I just only have like 1 figment of memory of that instant, actually, i don’t remember much after that).
3. Ease the person to the floor and loosen and tight clothing.
4. Try to remove any hard, sharp, or hot objects that might injure the person. It may be necessary to place a cushion or soft item under their head. (prevent the person form hurting himself).
5. Prevent the person from cutting his tongue by putting a non brittle material on his mouth. (btw, epileptics do not swallow their tongues)
6. As the person relaxes after a fit, turn him gently onto his stomach with the face to one side and the head extended so that the saliva can flow from the mouth. Its important to make sure that he can breathe freely.
7. After a seizure, i usually lose consciousness for quite a while (unlike some other patients), i.e, I may seem i am still present and talking to you, but trust me, whenever i have a seizure, the day that seizure occured and the next 30 hours or so, I don’t have any recollection of that. (I tried hard trying to remember the day after a seizure, yes I usually can act normal (e.g replying sms to friends), but it is just figments of ‘pictures’ in my head after that, i don’t recall much of the 30 hours or so after a seizure. My entire body muscles and head hurts a lot for days after that. But thank god, i am stressless after a seizure).
8. In the case of a child having a seizure, contact the parent or guardian.
9. If the person undergoes a series of convulsions, with each successive one occurring before he or she has fully recovered consciousness, or a single seizure lasting longer than 10 minutes, you should immediately seek medical assistance.
10. Try not to look at the person differently after that, because, that person is normal like anybody.

Some few things about that:

• Usually I have frequent memory holes, and it does happens that I forget my name.
• Just before a seizure, even though i wanna get away from whatever is causing my seizure, I just can’t, why? I see everywhere vibrating around, and I can’t control myself, and I somewhat feels that I need to be in phase with that vibration of the objects around. I lose control of my body (at this time i am still conscious that something is going to be wrong, but the hick is that, I forget how to use my mouth to talk, how to use my hand to move it or signal people around me, or how to stand up, actually, I usually feel like my brain has been disconnected from my body, I am sending the proper signals to do the things needed, yet nothing happens,.. then you know what happens )
• An Epileptic ought to sleep a lot (ahh if only sleep could come easily)

Why am i posting this?

Well this blog is mine and cindy’s so i post whatever i want on it :p

Lol, the actually reason was that many people doesn’t understand epilepsy, and for my own security, I prefer people to know more about it so as in case of emergency, i can be helped.

A big thanks to all researchers and doctors who are working on this to find a cure.

A finish note: My greatest thanks to anyone who happenned to have helped me when I got a seizure, I may have no recollection of the event or if you did help me, but definitely, I am very very grateful that you helped me out when I got a seizure. God bless you.

Ahh, i am in a rage to against that univ that i wanna start learning asap and start closing a few mouth. Anywayz, even if there’s a sit in tommorrow i don’t care, as i have a nice timetable set up, and nothing is gonna be more important that my own self as from now on. The gov wanna destroy the country, bof, their problem, someoen will kill em one of these days, uom wanna fuck the academic potential of the country, that’s their problem.

Bein normal fagoonee et Ramgoolam li zot pa pou avoy zot piti dans uom zot non? Enfin, i am happy that everything gets destroyed,  you voted that dude? Die now :p , i am just gonna sit and watch everyone burn :p. Have fun suckers, i was and always is a patriot, i guess the population needs to suffer to know their consequence of their acts, you voted according to race? :p good, suffer now, I will gladly suffer along, because i know i didn’t cause that, but i will enjoy watching those who caused that suffer along, it would be such a GREAT pleasure for me :p.  If you voted for that gov, i hope its your kid who gets send to colleges for univ courses :p better even, i hope you get pain, lots of pain seeing that
